As we leave Florence it seemed most appropriate to post a photo of the sun going down and the amazing view of the bridges over the Arno (yes that’s right “Arno”) River from the Piazzale Michelangelo. Florence really is a beautiful city with so much to see and a great place to just be out and about. If it weren’t for the scorching heat and the gift Marita received from a snotty nosed kid on the transit bus we’d probably have done or seen a few more places, but in spite of it all we enjoyed ourselves. Tomorrow we say goodbye to Italy and hello to France. Next up – 12 days in Paris.
